I wanted to pick someone else’s but I am a bit biased –Coaching for An Extraordinary Life, by me.

Pat Zickefoose - Director of Administration
Pat Zickefoose

What I Do:

As the Director of Administration, my primary role is to assist with keeping Terri organized. Various duties include scheduling of appointments, coordinating tele-seminars, tracking orders to be sure complete, keeping track of income and expenses, assisting with website updates, managing the affiliate program, coordinating duplicating and recording requirements, assisting with international calls, and whatever else may come up daily.

What I Like About What I Do:

I love being part of such an amazingly positive team, knowing that we are all working together to improve the lives of others.

Favorite Hobbies:

I love outdoor activities when the sun is bright and warm, but not particularly during our hot Texas summers. I enjoy gardening, cooking (and eating!), spending time with family and friends, and quiet time with my husband.

Rachel Muraca - Chief Administrative Officer

What I Do:
Rachel Muraca

As the Chief Administrative Officer, I participate in a wide range of day to day activities. One of my roles is to help students access the resources available to them so that they can get the support they need. I am involved in the student forum and am the person to go to if there are any problems with it. I also work on website updates and whatever else that might come along that needs to get done.

What I Like About What I Do:

I love working with the amazing students in this program. Knowing each of them is a pleasure! I also love the support that this program is able to give. Terri is so talented and a joy to work with every day!

Favorite Hobbies/Activity Outside of Work:

Being with my husband, family and friends, reading, working out, listening to music, scrapbooking, and shopping! And I love to sleep in on the weekends!

Favorite Self Improvement Programs:

Anything by Terri!

Favorite Thing I’ve Learned About Myself Through Life Coach Training:

After reading Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting by Lynn Grabhorn, I started to change the way I looked at life. This was the first time that The Law of Attraction was introduced to me and it has helped me become the person I wanted to be!

Favorite Life Coaching Book:

Work Yourself Happy by Terri. This is an amazing book and the title explains why it would be my favorite. I've always believed in working in a job that you truly enjoy...and I am!

Jan Carroll - Web and Technical Coordinator
Jan Carroll

What I Do:

I work with Terri on the development, technical support and the upkeep of The Coaching Institute web site. I designed the site (so complain to me if you don't like the look...just kidding) and look after most "under the hood" details critical to making your time here using the site, as effortless, intuitive, productive and positive as possible.

What I Like About What I Do:

So many things! Working with so many fantastic and diversely talented people. I love being part of making a vision become a reality. Be it a new website or a new coaching career.

I love to create. I feel great when Terri "Jan can you make this happen?" and despite the challenges involved with their request, actually making it happen (with help from D. & P.)!

Favorite Hobbies:

  • Building web sites for my own projects.
  • Creative writing. I've even written a movie script.
  • Helping others get through difficulties I may have experience with.
  • Giving my cat KC belly kisses <smile>

Favorite Self Improvement books:

Wish I had time to read. It's been ages!

Favorite Things I’ve Learned About Myself Through Life Coach Training:

I haven't taken any Life Coach Training but learned so much from Terri!

I'm kept (happily) very busy providing web and technical support! But I have learned a ton about it from being fortunate enough to be working for several of the very best ....anyway here goes ...Favorite things I have learned:

Being a wise and great coach is as much about being able to listen and put oneself in the others place as it is teaching. Helping tune folks into themselves, being honest with others as well as with oneself. Most importantly really wanting to help others to be happy and successful.

Favorite Life Coaching Book:

I confess, I have not read even a single Life Coaching book! As I mention above I am unable to get time for reading at the moment.

Given the opportunity, I would love to read Terri Levine's "Work Yourself Happy" book. It rather fits in with my philosophy of life (work wise) and look forward to learning to do so even more successfully.

What I Do:

As a life coach, I help people move from just enduring life to being exhilarated by life. My clients learn how to set and reach goals that are a true expression of their authenticity and their life purpose. We work together to balance their mind, body and soul so that they feel whole in everything they do. When they accomplish that, they learn to release their personal power, and they create true freedom where they once felt stuck. They find themselves flowing with life in a joyful way.

What I Like About What I Do:

Being a life coach allows me to utilize everything I have learned and studied over the years to help people transform their lives.  I know what it is like to feel like something is missing in your life.  I know what it is like to feel unbalanced and unfulfilled.  I also know what it feels like when you find that missing link, when you become whole, and when you allow your soul to dance.  I am a life coach because I want to help other people find and create that bliss for themselves. I am a personal coach trainer because I want to help other coaches be the best they can be so that they can effect the lives of many others as well.

Favorite Hobbies/Activities Outside Of Work:

Reading, Writing, Being Creative, Growing and Evolving, Traveling, Hiking in Nature, Horseback Riding, Dining Out, and most of all watching my son discover and grow.

Favorite Self Improvement Programs:

Metaphysical Retreats and Studies, Any books by Wayne Dyer, The Seat of the Soul by Gary Zukav, Ask and It Is Given by Jerry and Esther Hicks, Terri Levine’s Marketing Programs.

Favorite Thing I Have Learned About Myself Through Coach Training:

I have learned to trust my intuition and to coach from my heart. I always wanted to be more in touch with my intuition, and my coach training has allowed me to express that innate ability within me. I feel I have blossomed in spirit and it has enhanced every aspect of my life.

Favorite Coaching Book:

The manuals provided in the Home Study Package from The Coaching Institute. They are packed with everything you need to know to be a successful life coach.

What I Do:

I offer Entrepreneurial and Small Business Coaching, as well as individual personal coaching.  I hold two Coaching Certifications, a Certification in hypnosis, and EFT-Adv recognition.   It has worked well to have three modalities to offer my clients as some struggle to move forward.  Hypnosis and EFT has proven to help the most resistant client.

What I Like About What I Do:

I enjoy and feel personally exhilarated when I see people reach their goals and stretch their perceived limitations.  I actually teach my business clients how to coach their employees rather than the traditional management styles and it is most exciting to see the employee retention as a result of their process.

Favorite Hobbies/Activities Outside Of Work:

I am an avid reader; I enjoy the outdoors; and love spending time with my wife and extended family and friends.   Travel is a great pastime; Cruises are my most favorite way to travel – Alaska was breath-taking.  I’ve traveled to Italy, France, Switzerland, and Israel by air and land.

Favorite Self Improvement Programs:

I am a strong fan of John Maxwell’s books; and Jack Canfield’s, “The Success Principles” and the Stephen Covey series on “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.”

Favorite Thing I Have Learned About Myself Through Coach Training:

My biggest learning curve was hope to listen well and remove myself from the outcome.  Tuning in to the client’s truth and truly hearing them has been the greatest lesson for me in coaching.

Favorite Coaching Book:  Personal and Executive Coaching;

Jeffrey E. Auerbach, Ph.D. and Thinking for a Change; John Maxwell
